Student Success

At High Desert Christian Academy, we strive for an environment that promotes student success.  Our low staff to student ratio allows for individualized attention and learning plans that encourage growth and achievement.  We work to fortify students natural talents and abilities while providing them with a solid foundation that is built on biblical truths.

Small Class Sizes

As an academy who prides its self on cultivating each child’s unique gifts, we are steadfast in maintaining low staff to student ratios. The lasting academic benefits of small class sizes can be seen throughout a student’s academic career and beyond. Teachers are able to spend more one-on-one time engaging students in an effective learning environment. They are able to take learning to the next level with hands on lesson plans that allow students to actively participate in their learning.

A Solid Foundation

Our highest goal at HDCA is to provide each child with a solid foundation of faith and fundamental knowledge.  We focus on the heart, mind, and soul of the child in order to give them a well rounded biblical view of the world and the elements within it.  Our bible based curriculum allows us to teach Godly values, morals, and character, both inside and outside of the classroom.

A Beka Book

A Beka Courses

A Beka Book is a comprehensive, quality curriculum and materials written from a Christian perspective. Now more than ever, each child needs a strong foundation in both academics and character; A Beka is here to help to give your children the knowledge and skills they need.

A Beka Content

We chose the A Beka Book with confidence; each subject’s content comes from the work of skilled, dedicated scholars who have conducted primary research. See your children achieve the academic excellence and moral character that leave them equipped for life, just like over one million children developing into lifelong learners with A Beka every year. Volunteer 3

Parent Teacher Fellowship

Looking for ways to get involved?  Join the Parent Teacher Fellowship!  There are lots of different areas to volunteer and make a difference in our school and community.  The PTF strives to be an example to our students by demonstrating what a heart of service looks like.  Whether your gift is writing or organizing, bulletin boards, or baking, we would love to have you as a part of our team!  For more information contact Karla Samuel at 541-416-0114.

Campus Committees

It takes a huge amount of work to keep our school looking nice and running smoothly.  We are always looking for people to assist with odd jobs around the campus.  If you would be interested in volunteering in a classroom or on the grounds, please drop by the office and let them know what you would like to be a part of!

HDCA Clubs & Activities

Not only are our students able to participate in all of the sports and extra curricular activities at the public school, but we have some of our own as well!  Whether your scholar likes photography, writing, drama, or leadership we have clubs that will encourage involvement and friendships outside of the classroom.  We love to see our students get involved and discover new opportunities and experiences that they are passionate about.

Tutoring & Helps Class

Many of our teachers offer after school tutoring and helps classes in order to give our students the best opportunity to be successful.  We understand that all students have different strengths and different struggles.  If you feel that your child could benefit from some one-on-one instruction or you would like more information on either of these benefits, please contact the HDCA office at 541-416-0114.
