Our New Home
In 2023, we found a new forever-home! Situated on a hill overlooking Prineville, the Pioneer Memorial Hospital – Prineville’s former hospital from 1950 to 2015 – will be the location of High Desert Christian Academy’s new campus starting in the 2023-2024 school year. The building, which occupies 92,000 square feet and sits on nearly 9 acres, offers enormous potential; and we are hard at work transforming the space into our school!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our current and former staff, parents, volunteers, and the entire community for making all of this possible. Together, we are shaping the future of education in Prineville!
We are so excited for what the future holds and look forward to sharing this new space with students and parents this coming school year.
We will be posting updates about progress made at the new building periodically as we prepare for the start of school and make renovations going forward. Check out our updates below for details!
Building Updates
May 2023
We hosted a Prineville Chamber of Commerce Perk event in May 2023 at our west entrance. We had a great turnout and got to meet some wonderful local businesses! We can’t wait until we get in to this awesome building!
Thank you Prineville Chamber for doing this for our community! And a big thank you to Auntie’s Coffee House and Bakery for the yummy pastries, bagels, and coffee!

New Flagpole
We had a beautiful new flagpole installed this month! This flagpole is very special because it is honoring a special man. In loving memory of Kenneth McCoun, a proud Marine. He served God and his Country with pride. A loving husband, father, and grandpa. He also loved our school. Thank you McCoun family for letting us honor him.
